Instead of using criticisms to tear you down, they provide feedback that’s meant to help you grow and improve. They might say, “I appreciate how hard you work, but I’ve noticed you’ve been bringing work stress home. Can we talk about how to manage this?“

Open and Honest Communication:
Partner A: "When I see the dishes piling up, I feel a bit overwhelmed. What do you think about creating a plan together to share this task?"
Partner B: "You're right, it's fair that we share household chores. Let's make a plan."
Active Listening:
Partner A: "Lately, your late returns from work have been making me feel a bit lonely."
Partner B: "I understand why you're upset. Let's find a way to balance our schedules and ensure we spend quality time together."
Positive Reinforcement:
